Asphalt Production Process

Minerals (sand, gravel) and recycled asphalt are dried and heated in rotary dryers and subsequently weighted. Together with the filler and bitumen they are mixed to form asphalt. Bitumen is used as a binder. The asphalt is temporarily stored in silos and later transported by truck to the road construction site.
